The wreck of the USS Riptide is a location in the Commonwealth.
Background[]
A wrecked tug boat and a barge that was used by the United States Armed Forces to transport supplies down the Charles River, the boat unfortunately collided with the drawbridge, leaving the two IFVs and containers full of military supplies stranded in the middle of the river.
Layout[]
The boat is accessed by ascending the drawbridge to the intersected ship's bridge. Makeshift walkways descend to the deck of the ship. Some wooden bridges lead to the barge behind the ship, where several shipping containers and IFVs lie, creating living quarters.
Notable loot[]
- A mini nuke is on the fore of the tug.
- A partial suit of raider power armor is worn by one of the raiders.
- The Farming the Wastes edition of the Wasteland Survival Guide is inside the tug's lower cabin.
