They are very good Wind-Brahmin. All caps.
”Wind-Brahmin Wrangler[1] is an unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas.
Walkthrough[]
When entering the corral at the Brooks Tumbleweed ranch, the player might notice some faint shimmering. Approaching that will reveal an entrepreneurial nightkin, who will offer a bargain on wind-brahmin. Very good wind-brahmin, in fact, if one loves tumbleweeds. Agreeing to purchase one will result in the mutant taking all of the player's caps. Otherwise, he will attack. The dead wastelander in front of the pen appears to be a customer who passed up this offer and was referred to the customer services department.
Behind the scenes[]
- The player originally received a Stealth Boy if they immediately agreed to buy, but this was removed in patch 1.4.0.525. The nightkin will still carry a Stealth Boy that can be pickpocketed.
Bugs[]
- The nightkin's spawning might bug out and cause him to appear in a variety of areas, attacking non-player characters before initiating dialogue.
