William Ennis was an elderly employee of the Puesta del Sol switching station in 2077.
Background[]
An elderly member of the switching station staff. He was known for his lapse of memory, specifically forgetting his key around the workstation. Which frustrated his coworkers to no end. In response at least one thought about filling his locker full of Dandy Boy Apples or something as a prank to make him less forgetful.[1] As an elderly man he was also more affected by the excess heat generated by the computers and machinery. Because of this, and the switching station's perceived malfunctioning ventilation system, he wrote an e-mail to his boss, Director Konrad Simmons, requesting another copy of the password to the remote terminal. So he could bypass having to manually operate the power distribution in the cramped little room beneath the main workstation.[2][3][4]
Later, he was among the the staff that had to enter the ventilation system to gather samples of the mysterious red residue so scientists could learn what the mysterious substance was that was seriously injuring, almost killing the staff around the Villa. Due to the suit's inability to handle exposure to the substance he and the other members of the crew got stuck in their hazmat suits.[5]
