Icon cut contentThe following is based on Fallout New Vegas cut content and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

Westside thugs were meant to be some local thugs handing around the North cistern in Westside in 2281.

This character is involved in quests.

Quests[]

  • At one point during development, the Westside thugs were to be involved with The White Wash. Specifically the scene in which the player would catch Hector stealing water from in the north cistern. Upon exiting the north cistern, the Thugs would approach the player and ask why they're hassling Hector. At this point the player could peacefully defuse the situation with a speech check or attempt to kill them.

Notes[]

  • The thugs, for all intents and purposes, are complete characters with proper AI packages, inventory and the one thug that was meant to talk to the player even has full voiced dialogue, so the reason why they were cut is a mystery.

Appearances[]

Westside thugs were to appear in Fallout: New Vegas but were ultimately cut.
