Virtual Strategic Solutions, Inc. (abbreviated VSS and sometimes referred to as Virtual Strategic Systems[1]) was a pre-War software company which worked as a private contractor for the United States Army developing virtual training aids for various combat situations. At its facility in Washington, D.C. it produced the virtual reality Anchorage Reclamation simulation which General Constantine Chase oversaw the production of. VSS was also responsible for developing the virtual reality framework for Mount Desert Island Naval Facility before the Great War.
Interestingly enough, Virtual Strategic Solutions is believed by some to be responsible for creating a simulation designed to subdue the entire population of Earth in its "game".[2]
Appearances[]
Virtual Strategic Solutions, Inc. is mentioned in the Fallout 3 add-on Operation: Anchorage, Fallout 4[3], and in Fallout 76.
