Vault 111 jumpsuit – new is a clothing-type item in Fallout 4.
Background[]
The advanced Vault suit is a return to the form-fitting style that characterized the earliest jumpsuits, updated with the latest high-tech materials and technological solutions available to the Vault-Tec Corporation. It's a single-piece suit designed to hug the user's body shape. Various biometric sensors are integrated into the suit to interface with the Vault's systems, while the iconic yellow strip on the front is now made of gold foil, rather than dyed material, to act as a heat-dissipation strip and antenna for the biometric sensors integrated in the suit.[1][2]
Characteristics[]
Although it offers no protection from physical damage, it remains valuable due to its radiation resistance. It reduces the radiation damage from creatures and ghouls, as well as during storms with lightning flashes. The energy resistance is valuable later on, once enemies with energy weapons are encountered.
Modifications[]
The jumpsuit has a single mod slot, for lining. The Insulated Lining is easy to get, but unfortunately there's no increase in radiation resistance until reaching Armorer 2.

Locations[]
- After war had never changed, one lies on a table beneath the observation window in the second room with cryo pods in Vault 111.
- Another one can be found on the floor in the vault's entrance area, next to the stairs that lead down into the water.
- It can also be gained from the test area QASmoke, accessible only on PC via the console (coc QASmoke).

Creating a skintight costume in bright blue and yellow and not having it come across as goofy looking was a considerable design challenge. We achieved this by focusing on an interesting mix of patterns and textures for the high-tech materials and adding details that grounded the design." - ↑ The Art of Fallout 4 p.16: "VAULT SUIT
For the iconic yellow stripe, we went with a metallic gold foil that serves as a heat-dissipation strip and works with the biometric sensors integrated in the suit."
