Vault-Tec employee handbook was a book written for Vault-Tec Corporation, intended to provide them with a handy manual on the affairs of the company, its policies, procedures, and other pertinent information. However, rather than being a slim, easy to digest volume, it was a monumental publication counting at least 18 volumes, outlining in minute detail matters such as the length of a bathroom break (reduced to 2.25 minutes in 2077) and proper procedure for dealing with vending machine malfunctions. If there was something that embodied the oppressive corporate culture of the company, it's this book.[1][2]
