Vance's longcoat outfit is a piece of clothing in Fallout 3, a unique variant of the regulator duster worn by Vance in Meresti station.
Characteristics[]
It can be repaired with leather armor and provides bonuses of 1 to Charisma and Perception as well as a bonus of 10 to Small Guns.
Location[]
Vance's longcoat outfit can be obtained by killing or reverse-pickpocketing Vance. Killing Vance will make all other members of The Family hostile. Killing any of them will also make the residents of Arefu hostile, but only if Blood Ties was completed peacefully beforehand.
Notes[]
- Although it can be repaired with leather armor, it is significantly weaker in terms of Damage Resistance.
- Wearing this around the Family might cause them to attack you, even if Vance is still alive.
- When wearing Vance's longcoat outfit, if you look at your Status screen on your Pip-Boy then go to Effects, you'll have a bonus listed as "Covenleader's Aid".
- If you are a sneaking person, this outfit is very useful because of the +1 Perception and +10 Small Guns. The +1 Charisma is also a nice bonus.
