Look, I don't have anything in "stock." This isn't a store. Most of the stuff I fix here ends up in the Amenities Office... it's out the door and to your left.

Valerie is head repair specialist for Vault City in Fallout 2.

Background

A brown-haired woman dressed in brown fatigues and metal armor, Valerie is a sarcastic, capable mechanic. Her wit helps her bear the constricting bureaucracy of Vault City and fight its many absurd elements. Unlike her father, she is a fully fledged Vault City citizen, owing to her mother being one. She was born in 2221 after Vic seduced her mother and then took off on another of his caravans.

His intermittent visits, the last when she was 15, have led to very strained relations, particularly after her mother's death between 2239[1] and 2241. Radiation poisoning was the case.[2] In the meantime, she has developed her repair skills and can fix anything from basic tools to the laser cannons that protect the city.
