Ellie Perkins, Fallout 4

The Valentine Detective Agency is a location within Diamond City, and is currently still operating in the year 2287. This agency is the personal office of Nick Valentine, his secretary, and prior, Marty Bullfinch, all three of which used this agency as the command center for all investigative inquiries.[1]

Valentine's agency is a relatively small building that consists of one large room, with a small doorway that leads into the sleeping area, as well as 2nd floor that consists of an exit door that leads back out into Diamond City.

Notable loot

Near two of the agency's case files, on Nick Valentine's desk, there is a copy of a RobCo Fun magazine.

The Valentine detective agency appears only in Fallout 4.

Behind the scenes

Under the bed are case files detailing notes and sightings that Valentine had collected while investigating the Mysterious Stranger. These go back at least as far as the events of Fallout 2, and should the Sole Survivor have access to the Mysterious Stranger perk, additional dialogue will open with Nick Valentine.

  1. Fallout 4 loading screen hints: "Valentine's Detective Agency is run by private investigator Nick Valentine, who has helped many of the residents of Diamond City over the years."
