Underground Troubles is an ambient track composed by Mark Morgan for the original Fallout, released in 1997. It was later re-used in Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout 2 files included the track, but it was not used in-game. A remastered version of the track was released on Morgan's Vault Archives album in 2010.

Overview

A constant of whistling of wind and reverbed rattle of pipes pervades the length of the track. A bassy echo and tinny ring are heard, as well the screech of violins that reach a false crescendo at points during the tracks length can also be heard.

Notes

  • The track "Underground Troubles" takes inspiration from the composition of "Matchsticks" by Aphex Twin from his album Selected Ambient Works Volume II while overlaying it with various other samples.
