Background
Collins is a man of vision and enterprising spirit, who has reactivated the old cannery in order to process raw meat delivered by hunters and traders into lasting potted meat that can last for long and tastes a lot better than old pre-War cans of food - or worse, improperly stored meat that's been dried out in the sun at best and left to rot at worst. His repairs took him a while, but once the cannery was up and running thanks to his fleet of rebuilt robots and intact production line, trading took off.[1] [2] Minor complications caused by molerat infestations and an explosion in one of the retorts used in the canning process delayed work, but demand just kept on rising.[3]
As traders could not deliver enough unspoiled raw meat, Collins decided to supplement the meat supply rather than risk a fall in profits. He started adding molerat... And other meats to the cans, while using every trick he learned from a Marketing handbook to keep the traders coming back for more.[4] Trader Rylee is about the only person immune to his wit and charm...
