Why?[]

I don't want to sound off as Mr Negative, but if people are playing the game, they come here for info on a gun, character etc. In that case, they already know what the weapon, person or action sounds like. In my opinion this would just clutter up the articles with something that is already a given. When I first joined The Vault, I came here because I was playing Fallout 3 and wanted to know what weapons did what on where I could find the special weapons. I also wanted to see the backgrounds of the various characters I met in-game. That said, I already knew what Gob sounded like and what the Assault rifle sounded like. In my opinion, this project is really not needed and not to mention that many weapons and people use the exact same voice/sound with the exception of key characters (Dad, Mr House or Benny for example). Any comments?--Kingclyde 01:12, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

I give my reply on your opinion in the topic on the forum ;). Itachou [~talk~] 00:34, June 11, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I saw that. I actually added it here and then copied it to the forum and forgot to remove it here. Whoops!--Kingclyde 04:18, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

Hehe no problem, this can happen =). Itachou [~talk~] 14:36, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

End narration.[]

Though I have no way of actually contributing to this project by uploading sound clips, I would thoroughly enjoy having recordings of the Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3 endings available to listen to on their respective endings pages. —Preceding unsigned comment was added by Epsilon616 (talkcontribs). Great idea ;), but it seems a bit harder for endings. These are video in base not sounds, but I think that taking those of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas will not be too difficult by converting video into sound - those of the other Fallout will be more harder due to the format used by them but well it's a nice idea, I'll take a look. How do you find the sounds?[]

I would love to help and I have the PC version of FO3 so I guess the sound would be easier to get and better quality, but I have no clue how to find the sounds in the files, can anyone help me out? I'm sure a few other people would be interested to know how to. --Bot2345 15:14, June 12, 2011 (UTC) Nvm I found it, just look in Fallout 3 / Data / Music theres a few there but wheres the rest and how to you convert it to a .ogg file? --Bot2345 15:23, June 12, 2011 (UTC)
