The Pitt Trainyard | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Pitt Trainyard is a location in the The Pitt. It is a medium sized train station whose only inhabitants are Pitt raiders, all of which become hostile.
Background[]
As Wernher talks to the lead raider, the raider mentions he never expected to see Wernher again, meaning that Wernher originally took this route to escape to the Capital Wasteland.
Layout[]
The area is nestled in a shallow gorge. On the west side is an inaccessible building, presumably a train station, where the roof is made accessible by a ramp. There are several train cars in varying states of disrepair, and a catwalk system. The player is dropped off at the southern end. The northern end is blocked off by debris from a rock slide, so the only way out is through a narrow path at the northeastern part of the gorge. This path between two cliffs leads directly to The Pitt Bridge.

Notes[]
- There are some unique animations for some of the raiders when you first exit out of the train tunnel.
Appearances[]
The Pitt Trainyard appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on The Pitt.
