Maintained by Belle Bonny with the help of Brock, the Muddy Rudder is the port of destination for everyone down on their luck in Rivet City, primarily denizens of the lower deck. It's also a popular destination for residents of the upper decks going slumming.
Some of the common visitors include Trinnie, Tammy Hargrave, Sister, and, should he leave Vault 101, Butch DeLoria. The patrons tend to fight a lot. In fact, Harkness is close to throwing Sister off the ship for starting fights in the bar.
Layout[]
The main room of the Muddy Rudder is divided into two levels. The upper catwalk hosts the exit to the stairwell and a pool table, while the lower level, the actual deck, is home to the bar counter and tables. Patrons can peruse either the stools or the tables. Opposite the bar, in the corner, is the door to Belle Bonny's private room.

- Butch DeLoria will appear in the Muddy Rudder if Trouble on the Homefront is completed.
- Trinnie takes to drinking in the Rudder and can reveal Belle's secret stash if she's give 25 caps for alcohol in total (donating five times 5 caps). The stash is in Belle's room, under the first bed on the left.
