The Memory Den is a side quest in Fallout 4.
Synopsis[]
Lost in the Commonwealth without a trail to follow, the Sole Survivor might wind up walking into Goodneighbor and the Memory Den. What they find there... Well, they can help him pick up the trail.
Walkthrough[]
- This quest is an alternative method of starting Jewel of the Commonwealth and starts if the player enters the Memory Den without having met Nick Valentine. Irma will be apprehensive at first, but will offer the player a trial ride on the memory lounger if they front 100 caps or use Persuasion (Easy).
- The player simply has to sit in the lounger and watch the death of their spouse again, but this time from a new perspective, allowing them to walk freely around the memory and take a good look at the mysterious figures that abducted Shaun.
- Once the memory terminates, Irma apologizes and says that if she knew what was going to happen, she never would have permitted the player to use the lounger. She will also recommend seeking out Nick Valentine, a detective friend of her who specializes in seemingly lost causes.
- The player can also demand a refund with Average Persuasion, and if successful, Irma will give them 100 caps. Net profit if the player used persuasion at first.
