The Bear-Slayer is a perk in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road.

Effects[]

The perk grants you a point you can place in any SPECIAL attribute, Caesar's Legion fame and New California Republic infamy.

Notes[]

If you do this before obtaining the Platinum chip, you can avoid being vilified by the NCR because you are pardoned of any crimes you perpetrated against the NCR when a trooper asks you to meet with Ambassador Crocker.

Bugs[]

The SPECIAL point must be added. If you have them maxed out, then you will not be able to continue.
- FIX: PC users can use the console command "cam" that will just close the menu and you'll be able to continue.
- FIX: If you have the DLC Old World Blues, you can transportalpond back to Big MT and then back with getting the perks. Can only be done if missile has been fired, however, the Long 15 will not be accessible.
