TestQAItems is a room in Fallout 3 which can only be accessed by using console commands. The console command to enter this room is "coc testqaitems" as it can only be accessed by console commands it must also be exited this way. (i.e. "coc megatoncommonhouse").
Layout[]
The room features various containers which hold a copy of all the items found in the game as well as those which were cut or are otherwise inaccessible for the player. This area is made out of two rooms, with the first one you appear in containing all the items. In the second room there are also containers that look like the mailboxes you see on the roads in "Fallout 3". Their lock levels vary from very easy to very hard but once unlocked they all contain nothing. These were mostly like placed to test how lockpicking and the lockpick skill, as there are also 5 similarly set up computer terminals in the same room. The only inhabitant is a person sleeping on a mattress, who is literally named "Sleeping guy".
Be careful when picking up weapons or notes, as some are broken and will freeze the menu on your Pip-Boy for that category. In general, avoid objects that don't have a picture in the bottom left.
Appearances[]
TestQAItems appears in Fallout 3. It can only be accessed by using console commands. Although there is no room like this in Fallout: New Vegas by using the "player.placeatme" console command the player can spawn similar mailboxes with all the Fallout: New Vegas content.
