Stuck inside?[]

You know quartermaster in Operation: Anchorage? He won't dematerialize when you kill him....So That might mean he was a guy in the pods when the bombs dropped and he was sealed forever in one of the pods. Doomed to give out weapons on and on.I think this might be passable.

Or he's simply programmed that way? Ausir 15:00, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Why?
Why would someone program a pod to train someone to give out equipment? If it was a soldier fighting and he didn't dematerialize, that would make sense. But your theory does not. Turbine2k5 (What I am... - What I hear... - What I do...) 15:17, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

still doesn't explain why he never materializes

Programming bug? Ausir 15:29, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Well these guys were funded by the military so that must mean they are pretty good
It might simply be a mistake made by Bethesda when making the DLC, not necessarily by VSS when making the simulation. Ausir 15:36, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Nice comeback.Think I'll mod that in the G.E.C.K

Logic errors[]

How can something like a virtual reality run on reel to reel tapes even with alot of tape it still would be hard I'd like to see some one in real life make a simple video game (like pong) run on tape

Source?[]

From the article: "Virtual reality or VR simulators were a fairly new technology before the Great War..." Anyone got a source for that claim? I'm not the lore-hound around here, so I ask before making changes, but I just don't know what is being referred to here. Thanks.--Gothemasticator 19:40, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Catagorys[]

Should the different types of simulations be catagorized? It sounds like the BoS and OA simulators are used specifically for combat, while the boomers is used as a flight simulator and the OWB simulator may have just used holograms, based on the look of the room and the holographic projectors in the room. • I don't think so, having a category for one page and no others seems silly. And from what we know, the Boomers VR programs involved combat simulation I.E dogfights, bombing runs. So they're all combat pretty much, just in slightly altered forms.
