you guys do know that the long barrel mod can't be put on it BECAUSE IT'S ALLREADY ON THERE! my proof? equip the grenade rifle first and then equip thump-thump you will see the change in barrel length...--Uberhunter 11:49, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

Wouldnt work even without the barrel unique weapons cant be modded,just saying.

Comparisons = No. Again.[]

Removed the Trivia header, and everything underneath it. Read the bloody editing guidelines, people. IncompetentMinion 12:37, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

Somebody put a trivia title on again.--Adam Sizzler 23:06, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

The rule against comparing guns to real guns seems foolish in this case. --Ze5ro1 04:20, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

Why? If J.E. Sawyer came on the Beth forums tomorrow and said "Yeah, we based Thump-Thump off of a lawn mower combined with an old hose that shot grenades", then it would clearly have never been based on any sort of weapon. Until a developer says something, you get a big fat NO. Nitty Tok. 04:23, February 7, 2011 (UTC)

Damage per second[]

A DPS of 284.1 ? Isn't it an error ? Someone should change this and put the correct DPS with and without all the perks...

I agree, with an explosives skill of 66, and not adding in perks, im showing DAM 88, DPS 37. Beforetakeoff

284.1 DPS, 652.4 with all assosiated perks/traits... I agree something most be wrong there, I play on Xbox so I can't look it up in the GECK. But there us a explaination I can think of off the top of my head and that is if the in-game DPS don't count the AOE damage into it, since it's 100+ AOE damage that could explain it. - FieryWrath 13:11, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

That's why the DPS (Reload) is also listed. The values are not incorrect. The in-game DPS you see factors in reloading.--SushiSquid 13:19, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

Confused??[]

On the details it states: Critical Chance = X1 Spread = 0.8

But on the comparisons section with others it states: Critical Chance = X2.5 Spread = 0.3

Which is correct? And, should the page be corrected? Or, am I confused, if so,

please explain it to me S L O W L Y?  Thanks :)

Yeah, I noticed the same thing too. For now I'm going to assume that the crit chance is x1.0, since there is nothing within the written description that says otherwise. I'm betting that the spread is 0.8 as well. Still, if someone can give us a definite answer, that would be great. --EarthboundD 23:47, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
