Enchanted ?[]
I don't know about the enchantment remark. It's not that it is "enchanted". It's just better. Also, there are, in fact, several other weapons that similar unique properties. The Deathclaw Gauntlet ignores DR, Stabhappy does extra limb damage, The Shocker does extra damage to robots, the Victory Rifle has knockdown critical hits, the list goes on and on and on. So, nothing in that statement is true. Anyone think it shouldn't be removed? Also, I think the part on the damage to the DR should be clarified. As I read it, it might be interpreted as 5 points of damage to the armors "item HP". --7h1s 07:14, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm not sure about the enchanted comment. It has a hidden bonus, like all the other weapons you listed, so I think it's safe to remove the enchanted comment until the OP can clarify what that means. However, I think the information about the bonus damage is correct. It was my understanding that the bonus applies to damaging the condition of the equipment. Anybody else with any info? 68.49.187.181 07:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't defend the use of the word "enchanted" specifically, but it's useful to know that no other weapon in Fallout 3 damages armor as an effect. Techercizer (say hi) (pwnage) 00:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I think they use the word "enchanted" because the Object Effect of this weapon in the G.E.C.K. is called EnchWeapUniqueTenderizer (many other such effects also start with "Ench", such as EnchAntSting and EnchDartGun). However, I seem to have found something else strange in my G.E.C.K.. Even though the EnchWeapUniqueTenderizer Object Effect does exist in the Object Effect list, The Tenderizer itself doesn't actually have it in its Object Effect option (it's empty with "NONE"). This is weird, because I checked the other "enchanted" weapons and their Object Effect was in place. Can someone else please open up their G.E.C.K. and check if The Tenderizer actually has its Object Effect for you? I'd like to know if this is how it is by default, or if it was just messed up in my game somehow. OverLord of Chaos 10:11, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, now I understand. I had no clue that the weapons were denoted with an "enchanted" status in the Dev Kit. I play the game primarily on the Xbox 360. That makes a lot more sense now. Mr. Sully 02:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
