Bug??[]
I can't seem to destroy the force field with my Sonic Emitters... I've tried the Opera Singer and the Robo-Scorpion frequencies and neither worked... any help? --Living Lifeless 9 17:36, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
- Never mind, it seems pausing the game to go post a topic question helped it, and now the force field is down... LL9
magma pit[]
are you sure the magma pit is harmless? It swiftly killed my courier when I tried to... warm myself.--BSMaker 18:47, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
- I stood in it for quite a long time while I was editing that part, so yes, I'm certain. You might have jumped from a big height or something. --Living Lifeless 9 18:56, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
Saturnite[]
So it's quite obvious they were testing alloys here, which brings up the question: Why are there power fists, but no cosmic knives? You'd think that there would be a couple in the buidling. Kastera (talk) 17:43, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
- Possible In-universe logic, the Cosmic Knives had completed the basic research and prototype-phase and had gone to limited production for test market purposes(Sierra Madre kitchens etc). Probable real reason: Cosmic Knives are added in the Dead Money DLC which certain players might not buy while still buying Old World Blues. Dr. Lobotomy 19:21, August 5, 2011 (UTC)
- They could have still added a couple, like the feral ghoul reavers that were added in both Broken Steel or Point Lookout. You didn't have to have both to make them appear, why should cosmic knives be any different? But I digress, what's done is done. --Kastera (talk) 06:47, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Cosmic knives are a commercial product, probably manufactured off site. Saturnite power fists are still prototypes, so it makes sense for them to still be in the facility.
Tagaziel (call!) 07:40, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Big MT was a military research lab and the cosmic knives weren't meant for military use so it is likely that they weren't made there they were probably made at some other civilian or commercial research facility in contrast to the saturnite power fists which were likely to be used by the military.--Chargersphinx 20:35, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
