Is this page really necessary? Andale seems to have this info or most of it. At the very least, merge? Suntelia 08:07, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Is it intended to be a unmarked/freeform quest page? I think it fits better on the Andale page too though, so far... Mirar 08:38, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

I thought that it went a little deeper than usual city info and that it deserved it's own page, as it is similar to a side quest.vaultman 20:45, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Assumption, Clutter and Filler Fluff

Under notes, the line: 'Mr. Smith states that a man came around who had a kid in Rivet City, this could possibly be James Hargrave's Father.' Ted Strayer has a dead father too. Rivet city, for that matter is considered a major settlement, and not all residents my be depicted in game. The statement is open ended and could be referring to any number of people named or unnamed in the game. The line is now on both Hargrave and Strayer's pages, Why? Aside from them having dead or absent fathers mentioned in game, neither is specifically or directly implied to have lost his father in Andale. Given the nature of life in the Capital Wasteland, absentee fathers may be a fairly typical upbringing.Xclockwatcher 04:04, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

Another thing to consider is the possibility that the person's child may have already moved to someplace other than Rivet City by the time the LW gets to Andale. JerichoRCDF 19:24, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

no karma loss?

After i finished this,I killed old man harris, but i did not lose karma. Is this a bug?

Well he is part of the cannabilistic inbred family, because the two couples are his sons and daughters. But he gave up his ways some years ago, but he still partook in the murders of wastelanders, and the consumption of their dead bodies, so i'm surprised you don't get good karma for killing him. And it is'nt a bug.

Raiders and Enclave

There isn't an enclave camp anywhere near this location, I am curious if the person who wrote that didn't instead mean Outcasts as their patrols are fairly common on the road at the southend of town. However they are not hostile to the cannibals, and there are no raiders nearby either unless baited from the concrete treehouse, overlook drive-in and nuka-cola plant. There is a random encounter point nearby, near the Nuka-Cola plant. I've seen raiders at that point before, while just outside Andale. --Kris User Hola.jpg 19:14, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, and that random encounter is at the bottom of a cliff. They'd have to be coaxed around, and up the slopes of the cliff to come close to Andale. Mictlantecuhtli 20:09, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

And music. Whenever I walk by, there's this little theme music going "Da Ba Da Ba Bop Da Ba" Creepy... The Unknown User 20:13, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

This cannibalistic family may be based on the Bloody Benders or the legendary Sawney Beane clan.--ElB 21:16, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Or, you know, any cannibal story at all, really. You'd need some really good corresponding details to show a reference to any one thing in particular.--Gothemasticator 21:38, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
