Melee weapons?[]
Does this attack function with melee weapons as well. I've seen testimony that the Ranger Takedown will actually function when wearing Melee weapons and wonder if this transfers over as well.74.232.75.152 01:34, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
I am able to use Legion Assault with my Broad Machete out, i'm sure it works with other melee weapons as well.

Possibly a reference to the movie Troy? Achilles (played by Brad Pitt) has a signature movie almost identical to this (save for the fact he uses a sword rather than his palm to inflict the actual hit), that - paired with the fact that both the setting of Troy and the Legion have a similar theme (ancient Greece, ancient Italy respectively) it could be plausible. 85.167.61.147 13:03, October 31, 2010 (UTC) For a move that consists of nothing more that a pounce and swing, I'd say the connection is a little loose. 67.149.196.9 00:37, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
I made that connection as soon as I saw Legion enemies lunging forward with machetes. The legend is that the Trojan survivors founded Rome too, although that is still a stretch. I think it is interesting that other people have noticed this, but I'm not sold yet that it's actually connected to Achilles' "special move" from the movie.64.229.43.110 01:37, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

Legion assault does not do the knockdown on the PC version, yet there is nothing mentioned here?
That's not a bug. As far as I know the Legion Assault isn't intended to cause knock down. Ranger Takedown is the attack that causes knock down. 67.149.196.9 00:33, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
Damage? Range?[]
So, what's the deal, what does this move even do? Trick stuns 'em, Takedown takes 'em down, Counter is a quick hit, what does Assault do? You lunge forward, but so does the regular forward power attack. Does it do more damage or have more range or what?64.229.43.110 01:30, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
