Capitalization[]

And it is 'Holy Hand Grenade', it's a holy relic and therefore a proper noun. :P Nitty Tok. 20:56, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

How come Holy hand grenade is lowercased then? (That's why I moved it, btw) The Jovar 22:28, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

Someone made an error apparently :P --Kris User Hola 22:32, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

Power/Utility[]

I wish there were more, but since this weapon will only appear with Wild Wasteland, it will make up for getting the Alien Blaster (which I never liked) instead of the unique Gauss Rifle. I'll probably use it as a decoration/trophy for wherever I end up staying (regardless of whether or not it is an actual house). TJbrena 16:20, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

I do too. I really do enjoy blowing mine enemies to little bits. Anon, January 15, 2010

anyone else think[]

that this would be a great weapon to finish off the final boss in fallout new vegas with, sort of a, "congrats your worthy enough to die by this weapon" moment ithinkimaddicted 11:04, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

no

I think it would be, considering it comes at great costs to gain this weapon, it should be used sparingly, and i see nothing more fitting than epic-ly blowing something into smithereens. Nosferus 04:59, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

I concur, maybe when I finally work up the balls to kill the Legendary Deathclaw (I'm a level 34 combat oriented character BTW) I'll use this. TJbrena 16:53, January 24, 2011 (UTC)

I love how no one mentions an accident or something with this weapon XD, as for me, well with splash damage and rank 3 in demolitions expert, I always seemed to get killed by this damn weapon, but still love how EVERYTHING dies from it, no matter how strong XD lmao- Zerginfestor

When I went to kill Caesar and everyone one else in the camp I had to run out of the tent to prevent my death and while running away in circles I was like oh yeah I have the Holy Frag Grenades so I threw one and killed Caesar and the Praetorian guards as well.99.120.102.106 21:51, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Reference to worms and/or Monty Python?[]

Wikipedia:

"The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch is a fictional weapon from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It bears a striking resemblance to the Sovereign's Orb of the United Kingdom, and seems to draw some inspiration from the Holy Spear of Antioch. Contents [hide]"

http://worms2d.info/Holy_Hand_Grenade:

"The Lord's preferred weapon. The Holy Hand Grenade (usually shortened to HHG or Holy) is somewhat similar to a normal grenade, but with a few crucial differences that makes it an entirely unique weapon. ..."

Maybe I'm just old, but I'm pretty sure the weapon in Worms is also a refrence to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. - TandyBomb 07:57, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

Goddamn...[]

i have 100 explosives and all the explosive perks. i feel like im throwing the megaton bomb at my enemies.

Ms. Fortune.[]

So I went into the basement with the Golden Gecko's Guarding the Holy Frag Grenades.

Killed one, then went into VATS, Ms. Fortune Comes along and a Green Flash Occurs (leaving me stuck in vats for a second) and the Gecko's Dead, I find the Holy Grenades to be gone, the boxes near them over turned....and so on.

So, just FYI, Ms. Fortune destroys them. I didn't take any damage though, so I either my low explosives skill saved me, or they have a weak affect independent of my using them.

Either way, had to reload.Tobiasender 18:24, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

Holy CRAP[]

This thing is strong! incredible splash damage, but how are they "holy"?

Please someone explain why New Vegas has a God who made a grenade with the power to send the world to its knees???

WHY?!? --Elite Slayer 242 22:28, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

to fun to use but not enough[]

wht they should have done was included a schematic next to them to make your own holy hand grenades by mixing some sage and a hand grenade --Corporal grif 23:28, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

I imagine making a mod that allows you to craft these things is piss easy. I'll do some GECK rummaging and see what I can do. TestECull

Disappointing model[]

Thank god for the Nexus. Obsidian's model for these was terribly lazy. The Nexus lets PC players enjoy them looking like they should, and did in Fallout 2. I highly highly suggest anyone planning on displaying them, and playing on PC, install the mod. The mod can be found here. On that note, is it possible that these three grenades are holdouts from the Fallout 2 HHG stash? TestECull
