Legate Healing Powder[]

After killing the Legate, I found a special version of Healing Powder on his body (a quantity of 5, I think). It offered increased healing capabilities than standard healing powder (3 HP/28 seconds, I believe, while still offering the Perception penalty). He usually uses all of it in his inventory, but you can find it on his body if can kill him fast enough.--Dragon1300 23:34, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

I was able to do it with a Riot shotgun filled with Coin shot. I just used V.A.T.S. on him five times and he actually started to flee from me! Then when I killed him, I was able to find the healing powder on him. Not much use since the rest of the game is about two more minutes. Kastera (talk) 06:08, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

Leg HP versus Buffout[]

The article indicates the following:

Legate Lanius carries a special version called "Leg. Healing Powder". It is weightless, heals 3 HP per second over 27 seconds, and uses the model of Buffout.

Can the article be clarified. What does that mean -- "uses the model of Buffout"? It does not have the same effect as Buffout. It is not addictive (Buffout is). I don't understand what is meant by the statement. Sorry - I'm not the brightest bulb in the New Vegas socket.

Clearly, it means it shares a world model with buffout if you were to drop it it would look exactly like it.--Atlas Lied! 01:00, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
