Caught Cheating[]
If Gibson's key is found on Gibson at the Capitol Post, who is sleeping with Gibson's wife in the master bedroom? 71.238.205.137 05:09, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Gibson's an awful fresh-looking corpse, though.
- I think this is why he's hostile if you can find him alive. (It's possible.) He found his wife was cheating on him when she was in bed with another... skeleton. Then went insane.
- I know you're joking but... The skeletons look like they are from before the war. Gibson is a fresh body that couldn't be from before the war (and possibly still alive when you find him!) They obviously just named him Gibson for the Snatcher reference, not to fit any kind of continuity. So I'm deleting that comment. --70.142.41.253 16:16, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Another layer here. Notice the two injections of Med-X on the bedside table. I'd go nuts too if my wife od'ed with her new boyfriend in my bed.--Pontiac 00:40, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
My take on the story is this: The two people in the house committed suicide when the bombs dropped (probably a good idea), as they were refused shelter in a Vault (check the mailbox)No wait, that's the Bensons. Note also the empty bed in other room. Gibson could be a descendant of whoever lived there. --84.188.135.121 23:35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Can we get it changed? It's obviously not gibson's wife and another man's corpse in the bed. Whoever lived there during prewar died there, gibson just took the house over recently.
- I've removed the comment "It can also be concluded that since Gibson is found in the Capitol Post (location), the two skeletons in the master bed would be his wife and someone else" for the reasons already mentioned (e.g. Gibson's corpse being far too recent) as well as being too speculative. --Vometia 21:21, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
Maybe Gibson came home and saw his wife asleep with another man and set the house on fire, that's why the corpses are so burned up and don't have any flesh, and the fire just died down eventually so the whole house didn't burn down. Gibson could be hostile because he went crazy after he caught his wife cheating on him. And maybe gibson's note is a note from arkansas telling him to search the house so he would find his wife cheating on him.NukaColaClear 16:53, March 31, 2010 (UTC)NukaColaClear
OR it could be that the bombs went off near Ridgefield as wifey was havingit off and Gibson's corpse got mummified. Take Muffy for example. GamerAddict7796 17:01, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Master Bedroom Safe Loot[]
I think it's 'leveled loot'. I'm on level 3 and got some random ammo, some caps and a stealth boy. Bbcode 10:56, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
I think several of the loot notes on this page are the result of levelled or random loot, actually. First of all, the Pre-War book is NOT found in the study on the desk, but in the living room (same room as the raider corpse and the house model) on a table right by the raider corpse. Secondly, the desk in the study was empty for me, and did not contain any .308 ammo. I'm not wiki-proficient, so if someone who is better at this than me can edit the page without messing things up (as I likely would), please do so. :) ~Cheryl --66.116.33.57 22:39, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
4 Pre-War Books[]
There are NOT 2 pre-war books in the living room. There is one in the living room on the table next to the raider, one on the bookshelf in the child's bedroom, one on the nightstand in the master bedroom and one in the tub of the master bath. 69.126.31.96 01:06, April 3, 2010 (UTC)Liz
