Im glad they finally did something for us fans of the leather armor, reinforced or light armor in general. I was tempted to go with Joshua Grahams armor, with a DT of 15 and weight of only 8, plus that +3 critical change is a big plus, but its just ugly! Its nothing but a tactical vest with a ratty pair of jeans. Then there was the Sierra Madre armor, but again I couldn’t see myself running around in that ugly yellow crap either. This armor is totally sweet! In my opinion it’s the best thing to come out of the whole DLC. I think I just found a reason to play Honest hearts again! ReapTheChaos 18:16, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

I loved the idea that they did this I just wished visually the armor changed depending on the Gecko Hide you used. It would have been awesome to take this craft back to the Mojave and get some of that blue gecko hide or fire gecko hide and have the armor be a different color. In the end a great idea but not taken as far as it could go. Wasteland Cactus Man 09:41, May 25, 2011 (UTC)
- You are talking about coolness and visual, but ANY hide you tan will always be brown or dark/black. Collored hides depends of dye, tincture or adding sometheing like dried corn cobs when smoking the hide (wich will turn the hide yellow). I prefer realism than a rainbow leather armor. ;) Brfritos 11:13, May 27, 2011 (UTC)
