The info about Flak and Shrapnel's key is incorrect. It is perfectly obtainable. I got it by mezzing him and then telling him for me to hold on to his stuff.
flak disappeared[]
i put the slave collar on flak. a guard saw me and everyone freaked out so i quit and loaded an earlier save to try again. now flak is gone. hes nowhere on the ship, hes not in paradise falls, and shrapnel just wandered off into the wasteland. 97.89.156.86 19:42, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
update: went back to rivet city 3 days later and hes reappeared.
