As I'm inexpert at editing wiki pages, I'll leave it to one of the people more expert to make the changes. However, when I ran this mission the initiate was still alive, and I was able to lead him out of the building.

Possible Bug[]

Since I've helped these guys, the two paladins (or rather: mostly only one of them, maybe they're doing shifts?) seems to come close to my place when I sleep. As soon as they realize they're in the wrong place, they start running away, but alway visit strange places along the way, like Megaton or some bed in a cleared out raider nest like Bethesda... --87.155.227.131 11:55, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Unmarked quest: Even An Initiate Knows to Wait for Reinforcements[]

I just did this quest, and received 275 exp. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bust anybody's balls over a 25 exp differential. Although I did repair Pek's gun, maybe that's what gave me the 25 extra exp. -Magnus

You got 25 more exp because you were well rested. 250 exp is the base exp. Well rested gives you 10% more exp. Repairing his gun probably just means he can help you to shoot back at any surviving supermutants. It doesn't seem to give anything else. -Arcenciel

Getting extra XP doesn't necessarily mean he had the WR bonus. He could also have the Swift Learner perk. Blutteufel 08:14, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Barricaded area?[]

In the 'notable loot' section it mentions a diner in a barricaded area. In Falls Church? There's one in the metro, but I'm not sure if it's what they mean. But if it is what they mean, well, it's not the only retarded loot entry I've seen. PositronicSpleen 22:43, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

No, there is not a diner in Falls Church. I just wasted 20 minutes of my life searching for one. I have no idea what the original editor had in mind when he posted that entry to the loot table. Awhit003 22:34, March 23, 2010 (UTC)
Ervin Campillo69.235.192.253 08:44, September 9, 2010 (UTC) There is actually a diner, but it is inside the Metro station heading to Mason Dst. It's upstairs. I encountered two Roaming Ghouls, two Glowing Ones and one living raider, wtih two dead and stripped raiders outside. I had an odd bug worth mentioning too. The body parts of the dead Raiders were twitching, and one started banging against a oil drum fireplace, making it incredibly creepy inside.69.235.192.253 08:44, September 9, 2010 (UTC)Ervin Campillo69.235.192.253 08:44, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

May Be a Reference?[]

How is there any doubt about this, and why is it even worth mentioning? Falls Church is a real place in Virginia -- I used to live there. It is in approximately the right place. The one in the game is a little more urbanized, but that is easy to dismiss as alternate history. Also, the town next door is Tysons Corner, and that is pretty urban, with high-rise buildings and lots of concrete. DreadPirateMurphy 17:42, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Raider[]

At the station, where you find Paladin Hoss and the knight fighting with Super Mutants, there is a dead raider. This raider's skin is not dirty like the skin of others. —Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Yup; an Asian female (as opposed to AsianRader). She's next to a table with an R91 assault rifle, some 5.56mm rounds, and two frag mines, and is wearing a random raider armor at 20-30% condition, as well as 20% chance to have a raider helmet or hockey mask at 20-30% condition. She also has a random handgun with appropriate ammo (10mm or .32 caliber) and may have a melee weapon as well. There's a chance for some other random raider loot too. She's laying with her feet pointed towards a mattress which she presumably used as a bed before she was killed. --Kris mailbox 19:58, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Second Office Building, Dead BOS Initiates and Super Mutants[]

After I did the Lost Initiate unmarked quest, I came back to explore the area, and during my movements I entered the second Office Building, by the playground.

There was a trap in the the bathroom by the side entrance, much like the other office building, with tripwire and everything, only this one was a shotgun trap. And further in, near the front entrace, there were dead Super Mutants, and two dead Brotherhood of Steel Initiates. They had Power Armer and Helmets, as well as Holotags. And scattered about the floor were some Microfusion Cells.

I see no mention of this anywhere on teh Vault or other message boards. Am I the only one to find this?

It's listed on the page for the building itself: Office building (Falls Church central) --Kris User Hola 12:50, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

Flipping car[]

I was exploring the Falls Church area after having done the Initiate miniquest (and blowing them up with a car so they wouldn't follow me everywhere... heh heh). I was exploring the channel underneath the bridge that's full of rubble and wrecked cars, and I jumped on one of these wrecked cars (a blue one) and to my shock the damn thing suddenly flipped onto it's side as soon as I landed on it, throwing me off. I then bumped into another blue car and suddenly it's front wheels jumped up like it was on hydraulics or something. I don't know if this is a reliable bug or not, so I don't want to add it to the page without some other people confirming it. These particular cars are on the left side of the bridge, facing south from Marigold station. Would someone else try touching these cars and see if they bounce around for you too?
