Inland Oil Rig[]

Intriguingly the coordinates given by the game for the location of the Oil rig (37º18'N 120º7'W) is a good distance inland. Approximately the location of Mariposa as a matter of fact. 110.33.163.113 05:30, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it's been an interesting, albeit frustrating piece of trivia. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 06:55, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

The Enclave is not an enclave...[]

...at least technically speaking. The Poseidon Oil Rig existed well outside the borders of the US, making the Enclave's base of operations, and therefore the heart of the Enclave itself, an exclave; that is, it exists outside of what it claims jurisdiction over. I think the Wikipedia article can explain it more fully than I can:

Raven Rock is a true enclave; the oil rig is not. Just an interesting little tidbit I thought I'd share. Jperric 01:17, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

I just hope you're familiar with the concept of territorial water. 11px-Naglowaa_se.gif Tagaziel (call!) 09:38, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

This is geography. The Enclave is just called the enclave because thats what BIS wanted it 2 be. Geography pretty much has nothing to do with Fallout..... Only those locations. Nice tidbit tho. F horrigan Onipix Horrigan 01:58, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

I am familiar with the concept of territorial water. 200 nautical miles beyond land borders. This was only a minor observation.Jperric 21:27, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
The term "enclave" is meant in a metaphorical sense, an American island remaining in the shattered world, as it were. DarwinSighs 21:01, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

Did I mention that I love you? Tagaziel (talk) 16:06, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

How is it not "Security level"?--Ant2242 (talk) 16:30, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

THere's no security level. "Security level" simply means "Are the turrets trying to kill someone and red lights flash everywhere?"Tagaziel (talk) 20:02, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
