I'm sure those were mentioned in one of the magazines as being held (like Brahmins) at Goodsprings. Kamuikaze 23:30, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Where did that picture come from? 08:44, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

that picture is from one of the stills that were posted on the NV blog. it's in the background from where you see a guy in a vault jumpsuit using a golf club on a man with a pistol and fedora. as for who posted the picture of the Big Horner on the wiki, it was me (Shibbie68). as you can see, i'm not too tech saavy on here, and so i wasn't sure how to post the picture properly. but then again, nobody else seemd to notice the Big Horner in the pic, so i had to do it myself.

The article states that they are "Mutated Bighorn Sheep". It is later stated "It is believed that they are a mutated bull or ram". One of those in incorrect and shoul be fixed. I'd do it myself if I knew which statement was true. WastelandChocobo 02:26, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

As there are Bighorn Sheeps in the mojave desert, which are also called "bighorns", it is very doubtful, that they are anything else than mutated bighorn sheeps. So the later part in the text is wrong. --Mr.Lexx(talk) 21:09, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Do we know the name definately or is it just speculation? SamtheDeathclaw 04:25, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Oh sorry i accidentally undid the wrong edit. Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog.jpg 17:06, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

It's fine that you fixed the wording now jasper, but undoing the edit he made when that edit made more sense than "contains an Overwhelming attack" isn't grammatically correct. Try to avoid doing that in the future. ---bleep196- 17:15, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Invisible Herd

(XBox) On the railroad between NCRCF and Nipton, not too far from the Prospector's Den, I suddenly ran into an invisible object. The name of the object was "Bighorner". When I walked around it, I also found "Bighorner calf" I fired my weapon into this invisible mass, and a few seconds later the entire herd slowly materialized and went hostile (where the entire lot were blitzed into a gooey death, but I digress). --DaedalusMachina 03:49, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Jacobstown Bighorner

Im not sure what causes this but occasionally one of Lily's bighorners will become hostile and start attacking the other Bighorners and one of the super Mutants has to put it down. Can anyone else confirm, explain or has expierenced this?

Lilly herself says that the bighorners sometimes get 'ornery', so perhaps it was supposed to happen.--DrMGinius 01:07, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

New Picture?

This one is pretty blurry and only shows the head. Can Someone get a new one up? -- 01:05, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, thanks for that revision to Bighorners. I couldn't recall the name of the town and intended to go back and change it before I submitted it, but I didn't make a note about it and forgot. Much appreciated Anonymous stranger. :)

sweet, gentle creatures?

i asked lily what she does at jacobstown and when she said bighorners are sweet and gentle I was stunned because I'm level 20 now but I was level 8 or 9 at the time and was under-equipped when I came (for rex) and because the bighorner bulls and cazadors gave me a hard time i almost cried. i am level 20 now and I'm much better at the game now and I have every good gun and black ranger armor and raul just felt like saying that. --N00BHUNTER666 18:53, December 28, 2010 (UTC)

Cut Scene

Got head-butted by one and the game changed to a third person view cut scene of my character flying through the air but I didn't die, instead it returned to first person and I could get up and fight on. I don't think this happens with any other creature, is it worth mentioning on the page? Bwilderbeast 19:54, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

It's a knockdown effect. Its like when you get a critical hit on an enemy with the Gauss Rifle and get knocked down.--BOSPalidan 00:04, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Bighorners falling over

Anybody else notice this? When a Bighorner charges you it will often fall over after the attack, regardless of if the attack hits or not. It can make for some funny times, especially when you're watching a whole herd of Bighorners fall over or go flying through the air. I wonder if it's a bug, or intentional. Confirmed on both PS3 and 360. 14:13, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, just had this happen to me. They keep bouncing backwards and flopping around. It has to be a bug with the latest patch or something because I've never seen it in the hundreds of hours I have played previous. 10:33, August 21, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, so suddenly the Bighorners have decided to start flying backwards after each attack.. Sometimes it seems as much as 30 feet high in the air landing on their backs. Dont matter if they hit me or not, as long as they complete their attack animation they get tossed backwards. Whats the dealyO??

Yep, I just noticed this as well on PS3. Never happened until recently. 10:34, August 21, 2011 (UTC)

Furthest Headbutt?

Mine was by a herd near the Ivanpah Dry Lake, above the Caesar's Legion safehouse on the cliffs. I got headbutted and flew off the cliffs, came down in the middle of the dry lake and then the corpse of the character skidded to the crashed plane. Mictlantecuhtli 01:34, August 8, 2011 (UTC)

Wow... did not even think Bighorners were that dangerous. User:Great_MaraUser talk:Great_Mara 01:37, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
Without Stonewall the headbutt attack by Bighorners can send you flying quite far. I haven't noticed it as frequently with all the patches, the above mentioned incident happened right after release, before the first patch. Mictlantecuhtli 15:35, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
