Support drones are alien robots encountered in the Fallout 3 add-on Mothership Zeta
Characteristics[]
Specifications[]
Support drones have a roughly 1.5 meters tall main chassis with two long, jointed arms with three prong on each to hold objects. On top of the main chassis is an ovoid head with a single imagery sensor protected by metal enclosures. They are capable of hovering because of an anti-gravity plate on the bottom of the chassis.
Gameplay attributes[]
Support drones rely on melee attacks for defense. It seems likely their primary function is maintenance aboard the alien vessels, unlike their guardian drone counterparts whose primary function fills more of a security role. If you have the drone control device, support drones can be used as temporary followers, albeit only one at a time. Like other robots in the Capital Wasteland, they can be deactivated if you have the Robotics Expert perk. Shooting their hover platforms will temporarily halt their movement.
Appearances[]
