Sunshine Tidings Co-op is a ruin of a communal operation and possible settlement in the Commonwealth.

Background[]

A small farm southwest of Concord, the co-op is a former beatnik refuge, with a number of cabins and warehouses placed here. The original crew that set this co-op up before the war has long since passed from memory. The desolate area is only haunted by ferals – its former residents – and Professor Goodfeels, a reprogrammed Mister Handy, "liberated" from its owners by the original co-op operators.[1]

Settlement information[]

The construction area for this settlement is rather large, although many structures already stand and await habitation. Still, there is an abundance of trees to scrap for wood, but very little steel, so the cabins provide some no-fuss shelter. The main feature of this locale is the expansive tracts of arable land, suitable for growing crops and welling for water. Furthermore, the co-op is in a relatively safe region of the Commonwealth, so raiding is infrequent.

Layout[]

The Sunshine Tidings Co-op used to be a co-op; now it's just a coop of feral ghouls. The warehouse in the center contains the settlement workshop, a chemistry station and the control terminal for Professor Goodfeels, while six mostly intact cabins surround it. The northern part of the co-op also has a mess hall, with a cooking station outside of it.

A beatnik farming co-op of cabins and a trading warehouse. Local scuttlebutt suggests the place is haunted by its former residents. Meet Professor Goodfeels, who still rattles about the place. He’ll be a good guard if you hack his protocols at the Sunshine Tidings terminal (Novice). There’s a locked medical cabin here (Novice) too. Did you find the trunk in the western cabin yet?"
