The Sun of Atom is a non-hostile glowing one living in the Holy Light Monastery in 2277.
Background[]
Sun of Atom is worshiped by the Apostles of the Holy Light as a living idol of Atom, and is used to help irradiate the Aqua Pura to make holy water.
He is a post-War ghoul, and he's always been loyal to the apostles. In fact, the leader of the Apostles, Curie III, is his own mother. She firmly believes that the Sun is transcending reality and straddling the conscious side of the ether, but nothing beyond instinct is keeping this glowing one from gnawing on his fellow cult members.[1]

When a human transcends mortality and straddles the ether, they can be seen to be both living in the "real" and "spiritual" realm. Mother Curie III firmly believes her own son to have taken the final steps on this journey. In fact, much of her son's higher functions have disappeared, and only instinct is preventing this confused Glowing One from attacking."
