Sugar Bombs are a consumable item and crafting components in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[]

The following section is transcluded from Sugar Bombs. To modify, please edit the source page.

Marketed as having explosive great taste, the Sugar Bombs contain no explosives, but an overabundance of sugar frosting on each of the uniquely shaped wheat cereals, resembling the mini nuke. Served with milk, it made for a breakfast full of carbohydrates and little else. It was marketed at children, with added promotions to increase sales, such as Captain Cosmos decoder rings. Interestingly, the ingredients used in the bombs make them an ingredient for manufacturing high end drugs[1] and a tool for sabotage, as they can cause violent explosions when introduced to rocket fuel mixes.[2]

Characteristics[]

Sugar Bombs are mildly useful food items which provide only a small amount of both health and radiation when consumed. Sugar Bombs differ from most other "basic" food items as they provide a limited boost to the player's maximum action points, similar to chems like jet or rocket. Comparatively this boost is small, but stacks with other similar effects while not carrying any risk of addiction.

Sugar Bombs can also be utilized as an ingredient for mushroom cloud, trail mix, and homemade flamer fuel.
