The Sten gun is a small gun in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics[]
Although the Sten gun has less range compared to other common SMGs, it makes up for this deficiency with its slightly higher damage. The Sten gun is the perfect SMG for close quarters combat, but don't expect to win a gunfight at long range.
Locations[]
- 1 carried by the female Beastlord in Quincy's town hall, in the back room.
- 1 carried by ghoul in Kansas City
Behind the scenes[]
The 9mm Sten gun was developed by the British during WW2 by the Royal Small Arms Factory as a cheap alternative to the more expensive Thompson SMG offered by the U.S. The Sten proved to be extremely reliable and, due to its fairly loose tolerances, could perform in poor conditions much more reliably than ostensibly better weapons.
