Spore plants are creatures, originally from Big MT, and found spread from Vault 22 in the Mojave Wasteland, and Zion Canyon in 2281.

Characteristics[]

Biology[]

The following section is transcluded from Spore plant. To modify, please edit the source page.

Spore plants are violent in nature and attack anyone without provocation. Since they are rooted into the ground, they cannot move. They also have developed an immunity to poison and radiation.

Gameplay attributes[]

They have two methods of attacking. Because of its stationary nature, its most common attack is a spike projectile which it spits at its enemies. This projectile has a very long range can potentially be very harmful. If an enemy is to get too close, the mutant plant will lunge and bite with its thorned maw.

Variants[]

Spore plant[]

Found frequently throughout Vault 22, Zion Canyon and sparsely in Big MT, these creatures are weak and pose little to no threat, even to low level characters.

Appearances[]

Spore plants appear in Fallout: New Vegas and its add-ons Honest Hearts and Old World Blues.

Behind the scenes[]

Dionaea Muscipula is the scientific name of the Venus Flytrap.
