Ahh, the DKS is a fine long range weapon. It was originally .308, but we rechambered it for the more
common .223 round. We tuned the barrel, too. Most importantly, check out this trigger. Smooth, huh? The
trigger breaks perfectly now. Overall, this is a good choice for hunting any type of animal...
A DKS-501 sniper rifle. Excellent long range projectile weapon.[1] Originally .308, this one is chambered in the more common .223 caliber.[2]A DKS-501 sniper rifle. Excellent long range projectile weapon. Originally .308, this one is chambered in the more common 7.62 caliber.[3]
Characteristics[]
This military grade sniper rifle is the top of the line weapon. It is very accurate and deals lots of damage, making hits to vulnerable locations devastating. The downside is that it requires an additional action point to aim (6 for hip shots, 7 for aimed shots) and requires frequent reloading.
Regardless, it's very powerful for sniper builds and Tycho. The Ranger is particularly good with it, as he only gets one attack per turn with rifles. The sniper rifle makes it count.
