Skulking fog crawler is a creature in Far Harbor.

Background[]

Main article: Fog crawler

Fog crawlers are large, mutated crustaceans which are the result of the radioactive fog altering the local shrimp population.[1] The exact species from which fog crawlers mutated is not immediately apparent, but a mantis shrimp like Squilla mantis and crayfish among others are potential candidates.

They live in the deep Fog for which they are named, and are seldom encountered outside the island's deadly mist.[1] Fog crawlers are the effective apex predator of the Mount Desert Island ecosystem, and are known to make deep, booming vocalizations as an indicator of their presence.

Characteristics[]

Fog crawlers are among the strongest and most tenacious foes encountered across Mount Desert Island, combining excellent protection with a generous health pool and the ability to attack at range. Bring high powered weapons and avoid close quarters combat in the forests covering the island.

Appearances[]

Skulking fog crawler appears in Far Harbor.
