Sinjin is a raider leader from the Commonwealth in 2287.
Background[]
Sinjin is a fledgling warlord with a ruthless streak a mile wide. Much like Caesar, Sinjin plans to take warfare to the next level, waging total war on all who oppose him: Leveling farms and stripping the corpses, napalming his own men if it means taking out an enemy, all while pulling the strings from the shadows. Thankfully for the Commonwealth, Sinjin isn't quite capable of waging war on a large scales. He's busy building up an army, taking over small-time raider outfits and reforming them into fanatic warriors utterly devoted to him. Hancock plans to wipe him out, to avoid a situation where the Commonwealth's non-existent army would have to take on a very real and very dangerous warlord.[1][2]

- ↑ The Sole Survivor: "So tell me about him."
Hancock: "Raiders are ruthless... But Sinjin, he's in a whole different class. Leveled some farms. Napalmed his own men to end a couple enemies. But besides his dark deeds, nobody knows nothing. If he ain't dealt with now in a couple years it may take an army to end him."
(Hancock's dialogue) - ↑ The Sole Survivor: "Many have sought to pierce the Shroud. To no avail."
Hancock: "You just don't stop. Stay you, pal. The low-lives you took out all belong to the same asshole. And that asshole's planning some old-fashioned revenge on you. You dig? Fortunate for you, I want Sinjin to take a dirt nap. He's taken two bit raider outfits and made them... scary. Small fish now, but if left alone..."
