	Fallout Requirements Level 18, Agility 10, Sneak 80% Ranks 1 Effects While Sneaking, if you hit a critter in the back, you will cause double damage using a HtH attack. Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics Requirements Level 18, Agility 10, Sneak 80%, Unarmed 80% Ranks 1 Effects While Sneaking, if you hit a critter in the back, you will cause double damage using a HtH attack. J.E. Sawyer's Fallout RPG Requirements Sneak 15, and Melee or Unarmed 15 Ranks 1 Effects While Sneaking, if you hit a critter in the back, you will cause double damage using a HtH attack.

 

Silent Death is a perk in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics and J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game.

Effect

+100% if the player attacks a critter in the back while Sneak is active. As the perk only affects the initial attack and only applies to hand-to-hand attacks, the perk is functionally useless (especially since Slayer supersedes its effect). Backstab is its equivalent in Lionheart, while all games past Fallout Tactics removed it in favor of sneak attack criticals.
