A Shovel is a tool used mostly for digging. However, it can also be used as a weapon.

Characteristics

In Fallout 2, the shovel is just a miscellaneous item used mostly for gravedigging. In Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout, it is a weapon used by the Swampfolk. Along with being a weapon, the shovel is also used to dig up dirt mounds in Point Lookout. In Fallout: New Vegas, the shovel is a weapon as well a tool used to dig up graves.
