Shotgun Surgeon is a perk in Fallout: New Vegas.
Effects[]
With this perk, your precision with a scattergun is something to behold. When using shotguns, regardless of ammunition used, you ignore an additional 10 points of a target's Damage Threshold on a per-pellet basis.
All weapons that use 12 gauge or 20 gauge shotgun shells are affected by this perk. Energy weapons that vaguely resemble shotguns, such as the tri-beam laser rifle and multiplas rifle, are not affected by this perk.
Bugs[]
This perk does not affect the sturdy caravan shotgun.
