The Service rifle bayonet is a weapon mod which was cut from the final version of Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
This cut item would have modified the service rifle to add a bayonet. It remains in the form of meshes, textures, and static world objects in the GECK, but not as a usable mod that can be added via the console on the PC.
Possible Reason for Cut
It seems this weapon mod shows some other characterists cut from the game itself, such as the interaction between ranged and melee combat. Another theory for this mod is that it was probably used a some unique weapon for some companion or other character allied(possibly) with the NCR.
