| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Schematics - deathclaw gauntlet allows the player to create the homemade weapon deathclaw gauntlet at a workbench, if they have the proper components.
Characteristics[]
Schematics - deathclaw gauntlet allows for the crafting of deathclaw gauntlets by the player character. Acquiring multiple copies of the same schematic allows for the production of weapons with higher initial condition, from a single set of components at the time of construction. Obtaining more than one copy of a schematic also upgrades the plans to the next version, regardless of which order the schematics are acquired.

Locations[]
- One schematic can be found at F.Scott Key Trail & Campground. The schematics are located in a trailer, usually guarded by a deathclaw.
- Another schematic is rewarded for completing the Council Seat quest in favor of Bannon in Rivet City.
- The third schematic is found on a wastelander settler in the "wounded deathclaw" random encounter. See Fallout 3 special encounter locations (type A) for locations where this event may take place. The encounter only occurs once per play through of the game.
Notes[]
- If the player activates the encounter but does not loot the dead settler, the body will disappear after some time.
