The scavenger's bridge is an unmarked location north of the Red Racer Factory in the Capital Wasteland. A scavenger and his/her dogs have made their home here, providing a trading post of sorts.

Layout

The bridge runs east to west over the highway. If you find yourself below the bridge, marked by a blue truck that was apparently carrying bathroom fixtures, you can get up by climbing the northwest slope. Raiders frequently spawn throughout the areas to the south, and the bizarre mole rat race track is close by to the north, so expect some conflict.

Notable loot

• Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.
• Duck and Cover! - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.
• Grognak the Barbarian - on a shelf in the scavenger's shelter. Must be stolen.

Notes

• Blowing up the derelict vehicles below or around the bridge can make the scavenger and the dogs become hostile.
