From what I've heard, the Glow is a great crater that glows at night. It's supposed to be far, far to the south, but I don't know where. Stories say that it's inhabited by all sorts of mutant freaks who guard the technology from before the War.
A tough looking man with muscles toughened by years of fighting,[1] Saul's light-footed stance communicates his skills in boxing. He was born and raised in Junktown, living in it his entire life.[2] He had two brothers, both lost to the wasteland: The first, James, a victim of a raider attack, the other, Darrell, a victim of his quest to the Glow.[3]
Saul's own big break came when Gizmo's men witnessed him beating up a group of raiders that attacked him. Impressed with Saul's martial skills, Junktown's crime boss offered him a spot as a boxer. Since then, Saul has been making a living fighting in the boxing ring for Gizmo's caps and the entertainment of the people of Junktown.[4] He formed a relationship with Trish, waitress at the Skum Pitt, though she doesn't entirely appreciate what Saul does for a living.[5]
Help Saul.: After talking to Trish at the Skum Pitt, the player can talk to Saul and mention that she is worried about him.
Other interactions
The player can bet on Saul's boxing every three days before 2 PM, either on Saul or the challenger. The outcome of the fights is generally random and the payback very small. The list of opponents includes men wearing metal armor and a radscorpion for novelty.
