Saint Monica's Church is a place of worship in Rivet City.
Background[]
Maintained by Father Clifford and his acolyte, Diego, the Rivet City church is organized in one of the larger rooms on the midship deck, likely a former workshop or storeroom. Dedicated to Saint Monica, patron saint of lost children, it belongs to a denomination of Catholicism.[1] Father Clifford speaks each Sunday morning to those willing to listen, his sermon of Saint Monica recounting the Saint's heroic life.
Layout[]
Located on the eastern side of the midship deck (opposite the stairwell), the church is fairly small. There is one nave, with eight benches total, an improvised podium for the Father, with the private chambers in the back, behind a door.
Notable loot[]
- Replicated Man holotape: Inside the podium.
Notes[]
- Breaking into the donation box will cause both Clifford and Diego to go hostile.
- This is one of two locations where caps can be donated to gain karma quickly.
Appearances[]
Saint Monica's Church appears only in Fallout 3.

Diego, 18, is Father Clifford's assistant. He came to Rivet City a few years ago with his father but was abandoned. Father Clifford took Diego in, and the two have become like father and son. Diego assists Father Clifford with his church work and wants to be a priest when he gets older. He has strong feelings for Angela and spends much of his free time with her. However, he is also a devoted Catholic. Because she is only 16, he does everything he can to keep his feelings secret, although Angela sees right through him."
