Safari Adventure was Nuka-World's attempt at opening a zoological park. Although it was quite a popular attraction, the park was constantly under fire in the media from radical animal-rights groups.

Safari Adventure is a park within Nuka-World.

Background[]

One of the most ambitious park expansion built at Nuka-World, Safari Adventure brought opened in 2067 on Labor Day weekend.[1][2] The park took seven years to come to complete due to the extensive input from a variety of zoological and environmental scientists,[2] which brought together dozens of exotic species in one place for visitors to observe in an environment close to their own. The park was quite popular, but had more than a few run ins with radical animal rights groups, like the Animal Friends and Defenders (A.F.A.D.).[3][4]

While most of the species housed inside died out in the wake of the Great War, some proved themselves hardy enough to survive, like the gazelle, brahmiluff and gatorclaw.

However, the expansion holds a dark secret: beneath the park, there is a replication facility (a cloning center) that was used for the preservation of species and returning the ecosystem to normal. Unfortunately, one of the experiments created a whole new species, rather than preserving an old one.[5] The previously gatorclaws were the result. Only one person is brave enough to still remain in the park: Cito and his family of ghoulrillas.

Layout[]

The park is built around the Welcome Building and Cappy's Treehouse, providing a useful reference point. The Primate and Repitle houses are on opposite ends, and are necessary visits for the location quest.

Notable loot[]

Appearances[]
